Artfully Fun Quarantine: Illustrate and Draw Some Narwhals!
Many illustrators have great (and free) live drawing events going on over the next few days and couple of weeks. These are perfect opportunities to draw along with professional artists! Love narwhal's and all things fun? Check out Ben Clanton's Facebook live event. One was this morning and there's another one coming up on March 20th!

I personally love having videos on hand like these because they allow me to pause, forward, and essentially work at my own pace. Which is helpful for kiddos and beginning artists so you don't feel frustrated when you feel like you can't keep up. Or, like it's taking too long when you feel like you can work ahead!
Some videos are great to check out just for artist inspiration!

Feeling inspired? Here are some other fun doodling activities you can do at home.
Have a doodling challenge: Have everyone write down several fun, quirky or out of this world ideas on small pieces of paper. Put them in a hat or bucket and have the kiddos pull one out. Whatever one they pull out they have to draw.
Speed round: see how many the kids can successfully create in a short amount of time.
The student becomes the master: Challenge your kiddo to create a character or drawing that they can teach someone else in the house to draw, whether it be a sibling, parent/guardian.
Fill the page challenge: Make a challenge for your kiddo to fill an entire page of paper with as many fun, random things that come to mind. Offer a reward/prize of your choice when the page is full and you have given your approval that the page is all filled up.
This was one of my fill the page challenges from...er...quite a few years ago...

Thanks for checking this out and I will continue posting some more ideas!
